Extended review:
Packaging- CHOETECH bundled the car wireless charger with an pocket like a wallet and micro usb port. The pocket itself is crafted out of an Eco-friendly, recycled cardboard. Shipping took around 1 week to arrive.
Design- The charger itself is roughly the same footprint as an external battery packet, but much lighter in weight. This allows for the smartphones to be tucked neatly into pouches. Something I really liked about the design, was the addition of a soft-touch leather material. This grippy layer allows the charger to stay hanging on car dash with leather phone holder. The design is also clean and the smallest car pocket wireless charger I’ve ever tested.
Performance- Firstly, the charger included wireless coil offers at least 8mm charging distance and wind pocket volume, which allowed us comfortably adjust the position of the charger to our liking. To begin using this charger charging, simply only put in a smartphone.
The spacing of car pocket is slightly cramped, due to protect the smartphone close to the leather pocket. When tested with many kinds of smartphones (Nexus 7, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, Samsung Note 4, LG G3, Samsung Galaxy S3), all phones can not drop off because of vehicle driving vibration, and also no overheating or overcharging. The 5V/1A specifications seemed more than capable of rapidly charging our gadgets, smartphones took an average of 3 hours to fully charge.
Conclusion:
The CHOETECH car pocket charger is an effective tool for individuals that driving travel with a multitude of portable electronics. It’s small, powerful, and creates an unified charging 'station' that can save valuable time.
